this print is about how transition is a normal, natural thing (however incessantly demonized by those in power). It's about how we aren't the first to take this journey, and how we won't be the last. this piece isn't just about the journey, however -- I put the pollywog in a perfect circle with seaweed below and moon phases above, because it's also about how some of us will always be the in-between; will never be one or the other. I utilized symmetry (for the first time) in an attempt to convey how we are perfect in our transness; perfect as a creature that exists between two worlds.
