this tote bag is stamped by hand with my "let trans kids grow up" linocut stamps. I illustrated the design, and carved the stamps by hand. my butch rolls ink onto the blocks in a series of thin layers, before pressing the stamps onto the tote bag. this design compares the blossoming experience of gender transition to that of complete metamorphosis.made up of three separate blocks, the script asserts the very reasonable proposal that we allow trans children to grow up and become their true selves.
