angry and transexual wax pastel wolf print

this print was inspired by being angry and transsexual. I used wax pastels for their nostalgic crayon texture, and used scribble mark making to go along with that vibe. The symmetry of the border, and the juxtaposition of the red edged stars next to the vines suggest an anger so fierce that it cannot be contained - and yet a constant potential for growth and revival. The canine subject floats in the centre of the scene, a suggestion of ethereal happenings, like that of gender transition.
