I saw someone post on reddit because they got their feelings hurt when someone said you can't be butch if you are a police officer. Personally, I'd go so far as to say you can't be butch if you are so much as a police sympathizer. Because butch is not an aesthetic or a haircut - it's a label with a lot of history. That history involves us being stripped in the street (to count how many articles of women's clothing we were wearing) and then raped at the police station.
So you can call yourself a masc but no, if you support police, you'll never be butch. die mad about it. This print was also spurred on by the influx of anti ICE things - like yes! FUCK ICE! But also fuck the police - every single fucking one of them. Including the RCMP (stop acting like this is just an American issue!)
This shit is not NEW, it needs abolition not defunding, and all butches hate cops!
