I know this year has been rough for us all - physically, financially, mentally, politically, etc! I appreciate yall being here for me through everything, and I hope yall know I'm always here for you.

miso shortbread with walnuts and black sesame seeds:
for this recipe I used my mom's snowball recipe, but added miso and sesame - and made em bars! having spent December in surgery recovery, I haven't been able to scoop cookies, so turning cookie recipes into bars was my saving grace
caramel gochujang bar:
this is a modified version of Eric Kim's NYT famous caramel gochujang cookies - it's a little less sweet and more fluffy
black sesame sweetened condensed milk brownie bar:
this one is based on my mom's chocolate nugget recipe. I replaced some flour with ground black sesame seeds and added miso as well
miso ginger slab goo bar:
this is probably my favourite one in the batch - I'm obsessed with the miso and ginger snap combo, and they turned out wonderfully chewy
brown butter white chocolate bars:
Jupiter browned the butter for these and they're much braver than I am so they came out with an amazing roasty toasty flavour! I also added a saltwash and did a tray slam halfway through
black sesame peanut white chocolate ritz:
I got this idea from @eatchofood but mine are not nearly as impressive lol! I mixed blended black sesame with peanut butter, msg, and salt, and put a dollop of that and some white chocolate between two ritz crackers
